Note: Square doesn’t currently support receipts in sandbox mode. In sandbox mode, links to receipts return a page not found error.

Summary

The {square_receipt_url} merge tag outputs the URL to the receipt hosted by Square for the transaction associated with the current entry.

• The receipt URL won’t be output if the merge tag is processed before payment is captured.
• Square doesn’t currently support receipts in sandbox mode. Attempting to link to a receipt for a sandbox-mode transaction results in a page-not-found error.
